SILENTLY

Silently

sitting.

I await

a gentle

rapping

at my Soul's gate

Please

come in my Friend

I've longed

for your

company for none

else

will really do.

In the world

of Soul

there is

only

You.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF PEACE

Early morning rising brings a different kind of peace/

Pre-dawn stillness awakens promordial longings.

Awe and joy hover in moments

before sunrise.

Not moving-not waiting

Just being in pre-light darkness,

Soul illuminates herself, mind shifts,

Lotus in heart opens and fills with silence.

This is the embrace of love

Beyond emotion

This is the time of true

Devotion.

It is a Different kind of Peace.

I have just finished reading Archives of My Soul this morning and wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it!

I am a local author/poet, too.

It's very difficult to capture a thought or feeling within a few words, to try to convey to the reader the essence of what dwells within you on just a page or two - but you  have done so in such a wonderful way.  Your words are well chosen, humorous, thoughtful, inspiring, philosophical, and I completely enjoyed the journey..I'm very glad I picked up your book at the West River branch of the Elyria Public Library and turned the first page!!
